Andrea & Evan’s Wedding

I am so stoked to be writing this blog post about Andrea and Evan’s wedding! It was such a cool event!

Andrea and Evan recently moved to Texas for work but planned their wedding in Chelan as a central location for their families. Chelan is beautiful in September and there was no exception for Evan and Andrea’s big day. When we met up wtih Evan the day of, it was easy to see how excited he was to be marrying his beautiful wife Andrea. He was nothing but smiles and energy.

Andrea was having her hair done at a local salon while Evan showed me around Campbells Resort. When she finished up at the salon it was off to her suite at the Grandview hotel (which has great rooms I might add) to photograph her and her bridesmaids getting ready.

The ceremony was held on a pier built over the lake which afforded a beautiful view up lake. Immediately after they ran down the aisle they took off with me into town to play around and take some portraits while their guests enjoyed a cocktail hour at the resort. We had a great time!

Brittany Gebler (pic), a good friend and great photographer, flew up from Orange County to second shoot for me which was a treat. She captured some great images that I’m excited to include with their final edit. Thanks Brittany for coming up! I can’t wait to have you and Gavin back in Seattle again.

As Brittany and I were packing up for the night one of the groomsmen brought by an envelope for me from Evan and Andrea. When we got back home that night I opened it and to my delight I found this great note from Evan.

How great is that?! I love it when I get notes from my couples. Evan and Andrea, I consider you my friends as well and I look forward to photographing you and your family for years to come.
