Stephanie & Jeff’s Wedding

Stephanie & Jeff married last Saturday at The Edgewater hotel in Seattle. I love shooting at The Edgewater. It’s built on the pier so your room is literally hanging over the water.

When I arrived Stephanie was with her girls in their hotel room getting ready. It was a great surprise to see Shannon again. She was a bridesmaid for Ashley last year when Ashley and Derek were married. This time she’s doing the honors for Stephanie. In fact, Ashley and Derek and their friends Eudoxia and Chris attended the wedding too. Eudoxia and Chris’ wedding is coming up this August.

Stephanie looked radiant in her gown and you could tell she was excited to become Mrs. Jeffrey Shulman. She had this lovely gift picked out for Jeff. It was all wrapped up and hand delivered by her sisters. After the ceremony I had a taxi waiting for Jeff and Stephanie so we could go over to the sculpture park for a few portraits before heading back upstairs for their reception. It was a fun little trip.

After dinner and toasts I finished up a pair of iPods with their wedding slideshow loaded up on them. Stephanie and Jeff presented them to their parents with a custom engraving on the back. This was a great gift for their parents and they loved them dearly.

Oh, and I must mention my friend Jason Parker and his band rocked the reception! I miss hearing him play and when ever he has a gig downtown it seems I’m never able to attend so it was a treat to hear him that night. Check out his blog to see where he’s playing.

Here’s an email I received from Jeff a few days after the wedding:

Jeff,

You did a fantastic job! Our parents absolutely loved the ipods with the slide shows. And that was such a wonderful surprise to get to see the wedding photos at the wedding. Many people commented how they had to wait a year to see their wedding pictures, and we got to see ours before the wedding was even over. Very awesome. If you ever need a reference or anything, please do not hesitate to contact us. It was a great idea to head to the sculpture park and all of the pictures look wonderful.
