Ack! Apple released the new 17″ Macbook Pro today! I’ve only had my 17″ Powerbook for a few months and they spring this on me?! Well, at least my G4 is speedy enough for me right now but a shiny new Macbook Pro may find it’s way into my life sometime in the future. We’ll see how long it takes Adobe to make a universal binary of Photoshop CS2…

There’s certainly nothing wrong with your 12″ Powerbook or my new 17″ Powerbook… It’s just upgrade-itis, you know! Besides, I’m not convinced that the intel duo is really 5x faster than the G4.. Combine that with the fact that Adobe has yet to release a native binary of Photoshop CS2 for the new intel macs and I think I’ll keep my G4 for a while…
Haha, welcome to my world! My 12″ PB is still soldiering on, but the new Macbooks sure are tempting.
